Atlanta, GA– Pope McGlamry, P.C., a law firm with locations in Atlanta and Columbus, repeated its successful Wishing Tree campaign to benefit the International Women’s House (IWH) during the 2016 holiday season.
IWH helps families, particularly immigrant and refugee families, who have been victimized by domestic violence and human trafficking. The organization not only helps with shelter, but also provides job training and placement, mental and physical health assessments, legal advocacy and more. Residents and clients from over 50 countries on six continents have been aided by IWH.
Families staying with and working with IWH sent wishes to be placed on the Wishing Tree in Pope McGlamry’s Atlanta office. In partnership with Malone Law, Jay Patton at Taylor English, and an Anonymous Donor, attorneys and staff selected wishes from the tree to grant. This holiday season, over 40 wishes were received and every wish was granted.
Pope McGlamry is pleased to serve the community along with their partners in the project. For families traumatized by domestic violence and human trafficking, the holiday season was made brighter by the wishes granted from the Wishing Tree.
