Congratulations to the Henry W. Grady High School Mock Trial team, who finished 3rd at the 2017 High School Mock Trial Nationals this past weekend in Hartford, CT. The team went undefeated the entire season, through Georgia’s Regional, District and State rounds, as well as at Nationals, missing the Championship round by 1 ballot.
The students really stepped up and their hard work paid off. The team beat every opponent put before them in the courtroom this season, and you can’t ask for more than that. I am so proud of what they accomplished,” said Pope McGlamry attorney, Caroline McGlamry, who volunteers as one of the attorney coaches.
The Grady team is led by attorney Carl Gebo, who has taken the team to Nationals 7 times in his 22 years as head attorney coach, including in 2000, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2017.
